Rosa Anzalone has lived above Colla gallery on Via Pietro Crespi for the past thirty-five years. About a year ago, Camilo Oliveira moved in as her neighbour and learned of her passion for drawing during their occasional conversations in the apartment stairways. Rosa has always been fascinated by flowers, translating them into embroidery, crochet, and other crafts. Over the past few years, her dwindling vision has led her to shift focus from craft making to cultivating a garden of vibrant and spontaneous drawings. Rosa showcases the artist’s creative expression with over 60 works made in the past year, where a variety of floral motifs are brought to life on paper.
